Camins de Bosc is an interactive free play installation for early childhood, aimed at family audiences, produced by the Apikipala Company, based in Les Avellanes, in the Noguera region. Part of the contemporary creation and performing arts scene, this project is an interactive installation designed specifically for children aged 0 to 4, naturally accompanied by their families.
The proposal is based on an artisanal practice and a creative process focused on the conception and construction of original materials. This is not a space of found objects, but an installation designed piece by piece, where each game element responds to a formal, functional and poetic research. The project understands play as an essential cultural expression, prior to any pedagogical or scenic formalization, and as a universal language that emerges from direct contact with the material.
The installation is designed to occupy an approximate area of 200 m² and consists of fifteen play areas or stations arranged in an organic layout. The central space is designed specifically for babies, while the rest of the elements are aimed at children who are already walking, with proposals of progressive difficulty.
The various pieces were crafted in collaboration with local wooden artisans from the Pyrenees, as part of the Esbaiola’t festival’s Creation Support program. This process of learning and co-creation resulted in truly unique pieces.
The installation invites you to a free, unhurried play experience, where time and attention unfold naturally.
